We are looking for an experienced writer of episodic content to join our Origin Tales team dedicated to the development of children’s animated series.
As a screenwriter, you will be in charge of producing episodic screenplays for our projects, both ongoing and in development. Once you familiarize yourself with the projects, you will be expected to enrich them with your own unique perspective, voice and sense of humor. Your tasks will include creating episode scripts, adjusting the scripts in collaboration with the producer and the script director, in accordance with the project demands, and with the full understanding of the strengths and limitations of 3D animation. Teamwork, responsibility, and the understanding of the production process and its hierarchy are a must.
Required Skills
- Proven excellent writing skills
- Experience in writing episodic content (preferably animated content)
- Solid understanding of the production process and 2D and 3D animation techniques
- Knowledge of film language
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Strong understanding of children-oriented contents
Extra Skills
- Experience in animation
- Knowledge of storyboarding and animatic techniques
