We are proud and excited to announce what we hope is the first step towards providing a comprehensive education for anyone interested in building a foundation for work in the game development industry and the entertainment industry in general – the Eipix Academy.
Eipix Academy is a project envisioned as a series of courses related to various aspects of video game development and digital arts.
After over a decade of active engagement in game development, more than 60 successful projects, and with more than 150 digital artists among our ranks, we have devised the Eipix Academy in order to share our knowledge, skills and experience with those guided by curiosity, exploratory spirit, and a passion for learning and self-improvement. Eipix Academy was created with the sole purpose of encouraging the growth of potential through diverse and innovative courses specifically designed to enable students to enter the digital arts and the game development industries.
The courses are designed and conducted by professionals with years of experience working on award-winning projects. The classes are held in the Eipix headquarters, a space designed to answer the needs of contemporary gamedev studios and equipped with high end digital arts tools.
In the near future, we intend for our lectures to cover the entire process of developing a game and beyond, but for now we have prepared three essential courses that provide a solid foundation for further development:
- Basics of game development with Unity
- Character design for video games and comics
- Basics of programming in Unity
The first lectures are set to start as soon as late November. We feel that we are at the beginning of an exciting new chapter that will hopefully help produce generations of fellow gamedevs to come and establish our region as an essential spot on the global gaming map.
